FAQ

Caulking gun questions

What is a caulking gun?

A caulking gun, also called a silicone gun or sealant gun, is a hand tool that holds a cartridge of sealant. Squeezing the trigger pushes a rod against the back of the cartridge, which forces the sealant out of the nozzle in a steady bead.

What is a caulking gun used for?

Applying silicone, sealant or adhesive from a cartridge. Typical jobs are sealing joints, gaps and seams so that water, dust and air stay out.

How do I stop the sealant flowing?

Release the trigger and press the release catch at the back of the gun. That takes the pressure off the rod so the sealant stops coming out.

Can I order caulking guns in bulk?

Yes. Retailers, distributors, workshops and export buyers can send the quantity they need for a quote.
